Is there a way to freeze the changing desktop image with a hotkey ?

My desktop images are beautiful nature photographs. They change every five seconds and thus also serve the function of a screen saver. Sometimes the desire overtakes me to view the picture longer than five seconds. How can I momentarily freeze it?
