Is there a simpler way to record audio (on a mac) instead of using the iShowU Audio Capture?

I just started using the wonderful OBS software on my Macbook.
I found it complicated to record the computer audio (on a Mac) - as far as i understand, the only way to do that, is to use a third-party application - iShowU Audio Capture to record the computer audio.

* i tested it on a regular PC and it's was simple!
Just need change the Desktop Audio (settings) as you wish.

Is there a simpler way to do this?

There's not a simpler way. Apple's app security restricts apps talking to each other behind the scenes.

But with a different software i succeeded to record the screen + Desktop audio (Third party app) in my Mac.
And there's no configuration (like: System Preferences --> Security & Privacy) which can solve this issue for this specific software?

I use an app called "Background music." It was super easy to install and honestly I think it should be a native Mac feature. Anyway, that is what I use for my desktop audio in OBS and it works fine. Much simpler than anything else I've ever used. It is also free!
