Automatic Reconnect is enabled by default. OBS will try to reconnect to the server for a certain time. You can check it in the Settings under "Advanced" > "Automatically Reconnect"

Works well for me with Facebook. I even dropped from 5s to 3 seconds, and my reconnects after 1 try
