Question / Help Is there a plug-in for Google Hangouts on Mac?

I am trying to do what this guy is showing in Windows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZABzcAtwKf0

I simply want to create a green screen effect and push the video to Google Hangouts on a Mac using Chrome. I looked around for a while but only saw reference to this for Windows.

There is currently no virtualcam plugin for OBS on MacOS. There are efforts underway to make one but there is no schedule for when, if ever, one would be released.

In lieu of this there are three options:
1. Use a PC for the streaming and use NDI to grab the screen from the PC.
2. Stream the output of OBS using the obs-ndi plugin to a PC which could do this
3. Send the output of OBS to SDI using a blackmagic device and then back in using the Blackmagic Web Presenter as a USB Webcam at 720p.
4. Connect a HDMI to USB capture device such as those from Elgato, use the full screen projector output on that display output.
