ive had a little headache with my recordings benign stuttery with most of the codecs. had luck with nvec but if the game is like overwatch, the problem comes back.the big reason it does this btw is i recently got a 2k monitor and the downscale is causing some issues.
i recorded overwatch once with the quicksync and everything is smooth as butter. going to just use that as my encoder. one thing i noticed though is at 12k, the overwatch video was a bit grainy.
i could up the bit rate but i want to understand some oft he other options a bit better to see if i can get the quality up. was thinking about trying cbq but there are 3 things to control there lol.
anyways my intent is 1080p 60fps recordings for youtube that are super smooth even for games like overwatch. i want to see if i can get quicksync going good without it creating really huge file sizes. :)
