Question / Help Is there a generic RTMP source for OBS Studio 24

Hello,

I am using OBS Studio 24, and we are trying to use it to create a compelling broadcast for motorsports. We have a GoPro camera mounted in our race car, and are using a LiveU Solo unit to transmit the video. Once the video stream is at the LiveU server, we can create a variety of connections to push it out.

Is there a generic RTMP connection source type I can use? I can not find how to do that.

Absent that, we are pushing from the LiveU server to a YouTube channel, and then using the Browser source type to pull in the video. I think a direct RTMP source would be more efficient and performant.

The VLC source or the Media Source should be able to play back RTMP.

I'm running OBS Studio 24.0.1, and I do not see a VLC source listed when I click the add a source. The media source is available but does not appear to have the required parameters to accept an RTMP source (such as the URL and key). Any thoughts on how this would work?

First must install VLC in correct version (64 or 32 bit) to see in OBS.
LiveU is good but lag too high.

I build my self device with 8 LTE modem (cost <350 euro), signal over HDMI.
