Click to expand... but when i stream with my CPU it takes up 50% CPU usage and im just looking to lower this impact.

Fenrir Forum Admin Nov 2, 2017 #4 50% CPU is fine, why is this a concern? If you're on a modern intel CPU, you can use QuickSync. If you have a GTX-class nvidia GPU, you can use NVENC. If you have an AMD CPU, check if it supports AMF here: https://github.com/Xaymar/obs-studio_amf-encoder-plugin/wiki/hardware-support
