Is my laptop too low end for OBS?

I want to record PS2 gameplay on my laptop, but the issue is that it lags a lot. Can I make a lag-free recording while keeping a 720x480 resolution?
Specs: (oh boy)

Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4120 CPU @ 1.10GHz
Installed RAM: 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

if you were an EXPERT at operating system optimization, and every application running on that laptop, maybe you could get something to work... but I would NOT hold my breath
The RAM is LOW, so you'll need to adjust... Make sure you are using QuickSync

real-time video encoding is computationally demanding... and you have a laptop meant for web browsing, and not much else.
