Question / Help Is it possible to use OBS and OBS MP together?

Couldn't find this asked already, so apologies if it's been addressed.

Basically I've been using two instances of OBS, one for high quality local recording, the other for low bitrate streaming.

What I'm wondering is since OBS MP doesn't yet have support for hardware encoding, would it be possible to use it for the low bitrate streaming and be able to take advantage of the multi-track audio capability (cutting out the need to also have Audacity capturing my mic separately), while still using the old OBS for the high quality local recording? My guess is yes, but I've not been home in the last couple of months to actually be able to try it out myself. Kept hoping someone would chime in here :)

Would it be the same general setup with OBS projecting to another monitor, and OBS MP capturing that second monitor?

And on a related note, when OBS MP does get hardware encoding, is it possible to run multiple instances of it for this capability (at least until it has the capability of high quality local recording while low bitrate streaming built in... haven't checked the latest release notes to see if that's been implemented yet). I know with OBS you have to launch at least one of them in portable app mode in order for multiple instances to work.

I was thinking of a similar setup:
Configure OBS MP for streaming. Output the capture source to an unused monitor. Let OBS Beta capture that monitor and encode using high bitrate Quick Sync. Both OBS'es can record from the same audio sources. It'd just be too much of a hassle to sync everything up every time. I'd rather just wait until hardware encoding is implemented...
