Question / Help is it possible to stream over network to multiple devices?

is it possible to stream music over wireless ad hoc network to multiple devices? so for example a dj streams his audio outout via network and many people are recieve the stream with an app(vlc, audibly, seed or whatever) and listen to it over headphones? if it is, how do i do it?

If EVERYONE is on the same subnet, you can stream to a multicast address. Then on each VLC Client, open the Multicast address.

While a wireless Ad Hoc network MAY work, most wireless networks block multicasting (to prevent massive bandwidth).
