Question / Help Is it possible to stream music, without the streamer listening to it?

I was wondering if it would be possible to stream music on your stream, without youself hearing it. When playing some games, you need to use the gamesound, and it's distracting when there's music playing. However, viewers sometimes complain that there are no music. So would it be possible to stream music, without hearing it myself?

Okay. It would be pretty awesome if it was possible to stream music from Spotify, but it would probable be hard to do, or impossible. Thanks for the link :)

The link I provided should cover the steps to make that happen, it's just a really convoluted solution. If your viewers want to hear music they can play it themselves. :)

The lazy way I found out to do it is to plug in an audio jack to your pc lol but sapiens way seems like a more professional route

you could use a virtual audio cable:

This is donationware - I use it and works pretty well (using to have different tracks for ingame voice music and TS)

You have the input cable, cable a and cable b
und can use music on cable a but dont route cable a to input.
