Is it possible to start/stop streaming & recording remotely?

Hi! I'm using OBS on a Windows 10 PC connected to cameras which live stream and record exercise classes. The PC isn't close to the stage so it's awkward to have to go there at the start and end of each class. Is it possible to control these basic functions remotely, either on a phone app, or on an ipad? (We have an ipad at the stage so this would be perfect).

you should be able to control your windows 10 pc from an android but IOS (or apple) its doubtful there stuff is locked down. Unless you have a mac at hand. There are a few apks that will do the job weather or not there on apple store is beyond me but android just look up remote apks for windows 10. you can also use a thing called wireless mouse and keyboard but then you have to have perfect 20/20 sight :D for a history lesson apple and windows will never be compatible fully trying to control one from the other. Maybe in 100 years time, one uses c++ the other does not to a certain extent. Android uses c++ and can read windows files much easier than apple can
