Is it possible to set separate durations for transitions? It appears not

Hello,
I want to set my transitions to have specific durations. E.g. 2000ms for the 'Long wipe' barn door opening transition.
But 1000ms for the global transitions.
It appears that the transition duration is set to whatever is shown in the duration text box under the transition list in the Scene Transitions pane.
This is very inconvenient. Is it not possible to set specific transition durations for the saved transitions?

In studio mode you can set several instances of the same type of transition with the plus button next to the"quick transition" panel, give them different durations and assign hotkeys for each one. You can also override the default transition for a specific scene with the ones you created in studio mode
