Is it possible to repair this video? (result of wrong resolution)

I entered the wrong resolution under Video settings for Base (Canvas) resolution and Output (Scaled) resolution. My source is 3840x2160 and I accidentally entered 3820x2160 which resulted in a severely distorted video (see screenshots here https://imgur.com/a/g3MoRtU). I know the resolution was the cause because I did a test recording after correcting the resolution and the resulting video was normal. The video is in .mkv format.

I know it's not really an OBS issue at this point, but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea if it's possible to salvage this footage? Thank you in advance!

That looks a lot worse than just a 0.5% error on the width. (20 pixels in 3840) Technically, that's a resampling problem, which *should* be imperceptible if done correctly, twice, to get back to the original resolution, if you don't actually have any details that fine. It won't be bit-perfect, but it should still be visually identical, even in the "bad" version.

But your screenshot is indeed horribly distorted. There's more going on here than just a slight re-scale. Because of *that*, I think you're hosed. Check everything, and re-record. Sorry.
