Question / Help Is it possible to record two desktop audio sound sources separately?

Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to record my conversations on Discord and the sounds of the game I'm playing separately for more editing potential?
I know it's possible to split the mic and the desktop recording as two separate sound sources, but I'm having trouble finding a good guide to separate two desktop sound sources instead.

It's not possible to separate the audio output of two processes that output to the same audio device. It's required that each app you want to record separately can be configured to output to a different audio device. To make it work, you need as many audio devices as you want to record separately.
It's possible to set the output device of Discord - look into the Discord settings.
Most games also allow to set their audio device.
