Hello!
This is my first post here, but I've used OBS a few times over the years, love this project!
I am going to be hosting a gameshow using OBS.
I would like to display the following on the screen within a custom designed "gameshow" overlay:
- My current powerpoint slideshow (which will contain the questions)
- A window showing the host all the time
- The score
- And now it get's complicated, I need to have a window showing the 'active contestant'. How this would work is, once we show the question on the screen, the contestants can all tap an online buzzer app. The app will show the host the order in which the contestants pressed the buzzer. I would like to build an API that can send a signal from the buzzer app to OBS, triggering the displaying of the 1st contestant who presses the buzzer.
Is triggering the displaying of the contestants through API possible with OBS?
If this isn't clear enough please let me know how I can make it more clear.
