Question / Help Is it possible to disable webcam for local recordings?

We use OBS for streaming lectures and we have 2 sources enabled:

- webcam
- display capture

So, when we stream to youtube students can see lectors and presentations.

Is there a way to disable webcam recording for local recordings? We want local recordings (they are being made while streaming) to have only audio +display capture.

So basically just running two instances of OBS.. I knew about that .. I was hoping there was some other solution =)

Nope. Whatever the canvas framebuffer composite is, exact image goes to the encoder. There's no way to have two separate versions without two separate instances of OBS.
