So I have an iPad and I want to record my gameplay via OBS and not Elgato and wondered if anyone has any help or advice they can give me in getting my set up correct, So this is how I have it set up.
iPad 2018 -> Apple Digital AV cable -> HMDI cable -> Elgato HD Game Capture -> Windows 10 PC
I want to be able to capture both Audio and sound at the same time but my issue is I can only get one or the other, I play Pubg Mobile and If I turn on the microphone in the game I can hear the sound on the iPad and not on the stream but if I turn off the Microphone then I can hear only on the stream.
I know HDMI does carry audio so my guess is that once it reaches the game capture and it connects to the PC via a USB cable then that doesn't carry sound, Do anyone have any experience in getting sound working on the iPad and stream regardless of whether my microphone is on or not? or if they know how to set it up with the way I have it connected.
