Hey everyone,
I'm trying to set up OBS to record some training videos and I need to connect an iPad Air (2022), a USB Microphone and a Canon EOS M50. I am on a MacBoo Pro M1 (2020), so I only have two USB-C ports. I have a dongle that I can connect my camera and my microphone to but the dongle seems to only allow power to one device at a time! Also my iPad won't connect through the dongle at all, it only connects if I plug it in directly into the MacBook port.
I also have a large monitor that usually connects into one of the USB-C ports and the dongle into the other. I would like to have this monitor connected as part of the set up, if possible.
So in theory the best option would be a dongle that allows the connection of all three devices, but I don't want to buy another one if it's not going to work.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks
HB
