Question / Help IP WEBCAM APP wont be detected as a browse source in OBS

Hi,

1. I downloaded the IP webcam app on my android.
2. I open OBS
3. I create a scene
4. i create a browser source
5. i open https://192.168.1.6:8080/ and click video renderer browser
6. i input https://192.168.1.6:8080/ in OBS
7. I get black screen but in browser i do get what my phone is recording

what this is not working?
If i use the same link http://192.168.1.6:8080/ but instead of https i use https i only get what you will see on the screenshots which is a page similar to the browser. Even if i open http://192.168.1.6:8080/ and also choose browser here same outcome

what can i do the only other alternative is to screen capture but i dont want to do that.

You should change the resolution within the IP webcam app, but you can also resize the source within OBS. Depends on what you want to achieve. If you want to insert a small webcam in a corner, I recommend you set the resolution within the app so it matches best your desired size of the webcam source in OBS, then fine tune the actual size of the webcam source by dragging the borders.

Network buffering in the OBS source settings is for unreliable connections. The larger the buffer, the higher the delay between the camera and the actual display in OBS, but the lower the probability of buffering or stalling of the video. The smaller the buffer, the smaller the delay between the camera and the actual display in OBS, but the higher the probability of buffering or stalling of the video. If you have a good and stable WLAN, you can probably lower the buffering. If your WLAN is unreliable, or in general if you feel the video is stalled sometimes, increase the buffering.

Hi every one, i have a similar set up, but instead of using wifi connection, i use usb connection (anchorage through usb),

http://192.168.42.129:8080/video

but i face problem, unable to connect second ip webcam app device
i have tried to change port number (8080 to anything else).
if any one facing similarities, appreciate you share the solution.
