If you're looking to use an IP camera as a source in OBS on linux it's actually fairly easy. First you need to know the url for your video stream (http://www.ispyconnect.com/sources.aspx can help you find it if you do not know it), then add a "media source" and set the video stream url as the input.

It should be noted that many/all IP cameras do have a noticeable delay so you may need to fiddle with things to get the a/v to sync up

I want to use 8 IP cameras along a soccer pitch to record soccer games, using Open Broadcast Software.
Did you do anything like this and can help me?
