Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Mic: Razer Seiren
So I've been using OBS Studio for quite awhile and this problem has pretty much always existed but it has been noticeably worse in the last few months and I feel like I have tried everything.
The best example I can give is in this video (this was just an audio recording in OBS, but the problem is also present with video from a webcam in OBS):
https://youtu.be/WuxbMEMVWyw?t=1m45s (the link should be straight to 1:45)
I have since stopped using OBS studio to record audio, and now use Premiere Pro with ASIO where I get no mic crackle.
Things I have tried:
If I match the OBS bit and sampling rates the problem gets much worse, CoreAudio AAC encoder has no effect.
I still get between 1 and 3 occurrences of the mic crackle in every OBS studio recording I do that lasts more than a couple of minutes, most recordings are around 8 minutes long. If I do a 1.30-2.00 minute recording I probably won't get the mic crackle at all. The occurrence also seems to be completely random, I can't predict when it will happen.

I have since stopped using OBS studio to record audio, and now use Premiere Pro with ASIO where I get no mic crackle.
Things I have tried:
- Using CoreAudio AAC
- Using the 32bit and 64bit OBS studio
- Using the audio mixer default for the mic, recording the mic from my video feed source, creating a separate source just for the mic
- Changing my webcam resolution and framerate (1080p, 720p, 480p @ both 30 and 60 fps)
- Uninstalling Razer Synapse, tried every bit rate and sampling rate available in both Razer Synapse and the Windows device manager, toggled on and off the setting in windows that allows other programs to take control of the mic, matched the bit rate and sampling rate to the OBS studio settings, and I also tried all the OBS studio audio settings.
- Tried both basic and advanced recording output, both NVENC and x264 at all kinds of bit rates and audio bit rates
- Changed levels and volume in both windows device manager and OBS Studio, and also the hardware volume on the mic itself
- Uninstalling, reinstalling
