Question / Help Intermittent Hanging Video Output with No Dropped Frames

First of all, thanks for any help that is provided here.

I recently upgraded to version 17.0.0 (64bit) and I'm having some difficulty with my stream output. There is now an intermittent hanging of the video output with no frame drop or spike in CPU usage. This just started to occur after the update.

CPU usage while streaming doesn't go above 60% and 3.4GB memory used. I don't use this PC for anything other than streaming. All background programs are at a minimum.

I was not having any problems with older versions of OBS Studio and unfortunately I cannot downgrade to a version that I know was working previously.

CPU Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz
CPU Speed: 2665MHz
Physical Cores: 4, Logical Cores: 4
Physical Memory: 8183MB Total, 5196MB Free
Windows Version: 10.0 Build 14393 (revision: 0; 64-bit)
Running as administrator: false
Aero is Enabled (Aero is always on for windows 8 and above)
Portable mode: false
OBS 17.0.0 (64bit, windows)

audio settings reset:
samples per sec: 44100
speakers: 2

Initializing D3D11..
Available Video Adapters:
Adapter 1: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740
Dedicated VRAM: 4260036608
Shared VRAM: 4290373632
output 1: pos={0, 0}, size={1920, 1080}, attached=true
Loading up D3D11 on adapter NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 (0)
D3D11 loaded sucessfully, feature level used: 45056

video settings reset:
base resolution: 1920x1080
output resolution: 1280x720
downscale filter: Bicubic
fps: 60/1
format: NV12

If anybody could provide some insight on why this is now occuring, I would be very grateful.

And while I'm thinking of it as well, this drop in video capture is also occurring when I'm in stand-by in OBS (No Streaming or Recording).

It only seems to be happening in OBS. I can record fine using the AverMedia capture software with no obvious drop in video.

For the sake of fully testing equipment, I switched my capture card to my gaming PC and imported the profile and scene collection from my dedicated streaming PC.

It was doing the same exact thing, but this time it did record dropped frame rates every time it stuttered. Here is the new log file. Hope that this is a little more useful to determining what the problem is.

Thanks again for any assistance that is provided.

Killer networks network cards (like the one in your gaming machine) are known to be problematic on their own. The support software for them is TERRIBLE, and you should ideally do a drivers-only install of the card after removing the support software.

Dropped frames are generally an internet connection issue.
