Interlace Question

Actually this question applies to all OS platforms.

Suppose I have a camera which outputs 1080interlaced.

If I call up this camera on OBS, will the output be interlaced just as the camera is?

Among the broadcasters that require a 1080i feed are NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN.

That is to say, does OBS alter the interlacing or does it do stealth deinterlacing?

All output from OBS is progressive, deinterlacing is available as an filter for sources if needed.
