Is there a trick to get OBS Studio to work on a linux machine with Intel graphics?
I have tried 2 different machines, tried linux mint 18.2, ubuntu 16.04, ubuntu 17.04. I have installed the updated intel graphics for linux available here:
https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads/intel-graphics-update-tool-linux-os-v2.0.2
https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads/intel-graphics-update-tool-linux-os-v2.0.2
and every time I get the following: "Failed to initialize video. Your GPU may not be supported, or your graphics drives may need to be updated."
And yet, on the same machines, if I install Windows 7, OBS Studio works just fine.
The machines in question have intel ironlake mobile HD graphics, i5 processors, 4gb ram
Is there something I am doing wrong? and if so, what?
