I will preface this by saying that I am very new to OBS. If the answer to my question exist already please re-direct me, but I tried searching around with not luck.
I am not sure if I am wording this right, but I am trying to figure out if there is a way to integrate a video feed (most likely a webcam) from a source that is in a remote location. i.e. not on the same machine or network as me.
I am testing solution for a weekly live stream idea of conference/talks on my youtube chanel, and would like to involve participants or speakers that are not necessarely in the same location as me.
this would not necessarily be complicated streams, a single speaker, from who's camera I might occasionally be switching to some slides or pre-recorded videos. I mean I could have the presenter operate OBS on his/her own, but my concern however is that some of the people I am thinking of having as presenters might not be very tech savy, and having them install and operate OBS on their own would not be very wise, I'd much rather act as the "switcher" and control the feed while they only have to worry about speaking in front of their web cam...
I could window capture a skype call I guess, but this feels a bit clumsy, I mean in the tests I've done so far I get very noticeable out of sync issues between audio and video...
Maybe this is beyond the scopes of what OBS can do?
