Instant replay in OBS (Mac) - should it work?

I have been trying to setup instant replay for OBS with my M1 Mac but for some reason it just doesn't work. Clips are recorded and I can set the instant replay script, but selected media source is not updated with that new replay clip. Due that reason I have been using Streamlabs as it has build-in replay function what works.

So the questions in this moment is simply - Should instant replay script work with Mac OBS?

I've had this same problem. I really want to do instant replays on the high school basketball live streams I do. Is there an answer to why this is not working on a MacBook Pro M1 Max
