Install VST Plugin in OBS

Hello! I was trying to install the LoudMax VST plug in OBS. I followed this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojn60XszIMc
I created a folder in C/Program/Common Files named "VST2", where I put the downloaded .dll files.

Is that the correct way to install VST plugins into OBS? The LoudMax plugin appeared in the Filters list, and I was able to open the LoudMax interface within OBS. But the interface didn't seem to respond properly, only when I had the left mouse button pressed down when adjusting the levels. I tried rebooting the computer but it didn't change anything.

After a while, OBS started crashing, and I removed the VST plugin. Did I do it the wrong way?

I suspect there are some issues with the way the UI for the VST is built. I've seen several cases where specific VSTs don't work well, and others work brilliantly. Since you can see it, the install worked. Try a different VST.
