Normally I play Minecraft upwards of 100 FPS. As soon as I launch OBS, I dip down to 20- FPS. If I'm playing more resource-intensive modpacks I can generally still get a good 30 fps but when OBS is open, not even recording, I'm stuck with a consistent 5 or below. As soon as I close OBS it returns to the normal framerate. This makes it virtually impossible to record videos.
I have a GTX 970, 8 GB of RAM, and an i5-6400 quad core processor. I really don't think I should be getting this much lag with these specs.
My settings:
Also, here's a log, if that helps at all.
I really don't know what's going on. Does anybody spot a problem with my settings or something?
