I started trying out obs. I hope to make videos from my phone and game consoles. I bought a Cable Matters HDMI video capture device. I connect it to the usb input of my pc, and connect my phone to the hdmi input of the capture device. When I try to select input device in obs, the usb input is detected, but the input is only 1 usb port, and I get no video nor sound.
I connected a web cam to obs, and the video displays fine. However, when I try to add the input from the video capture device, I still get a blank screen for the capture device. Also, there is only one input available to choose from, even with both the web cam and video capture device connected to my pc: usb 1. I would think there should be a usb 2 or 3 options available when connecting multiple devices, but there's only 1.
