Question / Help Ingame lag when playing MC

When I'm playing Modded MC with the vanilla OBS I have no issues outside of random/rare heartbeat lag spikes.

When I play the same instance with OBS-MP I can't get more than 20fps according to the ingame info when hitting F3.

The only other thing of note is that I've got my launcher to use 2GB to 4GB of ram for this save instance.

Could you include a log file where the problem occurred? Help menu -> Log files -> Upload last log file -> Paste the link here.

Or, open OBS, make the problem happen and do a recording session as a test, then stop recording, then use the "Upload current log file" instead and paste the link here.

1080p encoding is a bit much while playing minecraft.

Even then while I'm simply in preview mode it behaves the same way.

Is your old OBS set up to use hardware encoding, because OBS MP does not have that yet. It does, however, make quite a difference performance-wise...

tehbasshunter, you posted a log from OBS MP but those are screenshots from the old OBS. Which version are you using?

Because OBS-MP lags when I play minecraft I'm using the older one. I wasn't quite sure which one you wanted me to post.

I don't have OBS-MP configured to match the settings anyways since I had reinstalled/cleared everything to try something else.
