Ingame cursor misalignement after installing OBS

I just installed OBS half an hour ago. Tried to video capture a game, Train Sim World 2, but noticed the mouse cursor in game was misaligned. It even happens with OBS closed, and the problem persists after uninstalling OBS. I've validating the game files but no game files needed to be redownloaded.

So I need help. OBS messed up my game even after unintalling it. How do I fix this?

OBS does inject a hook into the running game executable in-memory at time of capture to read out the video frames, but would not be able to make long-lasting changes of the kind you describe to the underlying game files. Especially if OBS is entirely uninstalled.

This sounds like a case of an issue with the game simply happening to crop up at the same time, and being conflated.
