Indefinite streaming to youtube live

Hi I'm looking for some advice on a project I was presented with.

I work at a ski resort and we want to start streaming a webcam of our parking lot, and our corporate security team won't let me give it a static IP and just stream it to the website through the firewall with ffmpeg. Also one of our managers would also like it tied into our Avigilon security system so I can't just get a AXIS camera and install special firmware to stream to youtube. So here is what I've come up with so far please tell me if anyone can think of a better way to do it....

I'm grabbing the rtsp feed of the camera as a VLC source in OBS then using OBS to stream to youtube. First I tried it with a VM running windows ten and it didn't work very well (used to many resources and dropped frames) and dropped the connection after a couple of days. I then switched to a physical box (3 ghz i5 8gb of ram) still running windows ten. That also worked for a few days until a windows update locked up the box. So now I've installed Win server 2019 so I can better control when it updates and started a new test, so far 28 hrs no issue. Right now it's using about 15% of the processor running the video at 720 however the new camera we are getting and would like to use is 4k.

Has anyone every tried using OBS like this before and how did you do it? Any advice is welcome thanks in advance!
