If my camera is outputting a stream in HEVC and then going to stream to the cloud using OBS, is there a setting that just saves a local copy without needing to re-encode? Is there also a setting that makes the cloud stream also not need to be re-encoded? The stream is pretty much in the format I want before it gets to my computer, I just want OBS to send an RTMP stream to my CDN and then also save the stream to my computers hard drive.

I don't think there's any way with OBS to tell it to do a pass-through.

Thanks for the response. The user manual doesn't give me too much hope but installing the software now and going to test it out.
