Question / Help IN/OUT points for video files

Not specific for Mac but I need to know how I can give an in and out point to the local video files I have loaded inside my Scenes.

I'm very new to OBS, so I might have missed something.

Thanks

As far as I know, OBS doesn't support in and out points. It also has very limited media controls. You basically either have to split the single video into multiple videos based on those points or play the video in another media player that has that capability and capture its window (or display)

Thanks for clarifying, I'm a bit surprised tho. It would mean I will need to activate the video inside OBS and then the other player. Making the transition not so smooth.

Think I will use Trim with Quicktime to create in&out points then, so the videos starts at the desired point.

Was hoping VLC would be able to do this since you can load saved playlists inside OBS but the A→B Loop function of VLC is buggy and not usable for MAC. I believe PC & Linux have Advance Toolbar options, but Mac doesn't apperently.
