Question / Help in need of Universal audio interface troubleshooting help for OBS

Been getting set up to stream with OBS and I'm almost all good. The only thing preventing me from streaming is that my audio interface (Apollo x8) isnt sending audio to my audio input capture. I checked on the settings but only saw 4 channels. Furthermore they were input channels and not the outputs from the DAW audio I wish to stream from. When I tried an audio output capture, there was nothing to chose from the dropdown. Im still new to OBS so any insight would be greatly appreciated. Would be nice to be able to use my interface

OBS is a stereo program, it doesn't natively handle multichannel devices (except surround). You can get around this with 3rd party software like LoopBack, or by creating custom devices in MIDI setup.

Jack.Lion,
I have the same equipment and the same issue. Did you figure this out without having to purchase other equipment? Is it a setting in U-audio console? hmmmmm...
If so please let me know how you did it.
