hi everyone.

I'm trying to figure out what's going on, because I haven't touched any system settings, nothing on OBS has been changed. whenever OBS is open now, my fps in games is cut in half.

both monitors I have are at 120Hz, game mode is enabled, game bar is turned off. OBS is also being ran as admin.

I've gone through every possible step I can think of and nothing seems to be working. any ideas?

0. Using Windows Update, check for any available Windows 10 updates.
1. The new Windows 10 Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling ("HAGS") added with version 2004 is currently known to cause performance and capture issues with OBS, games and overlay tools. It's a new and experimental feature and we recommend disabling it via these instructions.
2. Enabled Game Mode for maximum gaming performance. Game Mode can be enabled via the Windows 10 "Settings" app, under Gaming > Game Mode.
3. One of your audio devices has a sample rate that doesn't match the rest. This can result in audio drift over time or sound distortion. Check your audio devices in Windows settings (both Playback and Recording) and ensure the Default Format (under Advanced) is consistent. 48000 Hz is recommended.
OBS Sample Rate: 48000 Hz
Microphone (NoMachine Microphone Adapter): 44100 Hz
Broadcast Stream Mix (2- TC-HELICON GoXLR Mini): 48000 Hz
4. Update OBS to the newest from https://obsproject.com/download
5. Record to MKV of FLV. If you record to MP4 or MOV and the recording is interrupted, the file will be corrupted and unrecoverable.

If you require MP4 files for some other purpose like editing, remux them afterwards by selecting File > Remux Recordings in the main OBS Studio window or enable Auto Remux in the Advanced Settings.
6. Enable browser hardware acceleration in the Advanced Settings too.
7. Do not use Display Capture. Build your scene with Game/Window/Video Device Capture.

Post new log after making those changes if still having issues.
