Hi,

I not satisfied with my sound voice when I record audio. I use compressor, EQ, noise gate but my voice misses presence or a boost in low freq. However if I boot low freqs, my voice sounds like muffled.

Any idea what should I do wot have a non-flat voice ?
I use wireless mic hollyland lark max and a Zoom H5.

thx

"Presence", "muffled", "boxy", and similar terms, are often EQ problems, and OBS's EQ is severely limited. Yes, it's better than nothing, but a 3-band graphic is still more of a consumer toy than a serious production tool.

Since you're on Windows, the easiest solution might be to run it through VoiceMeeter, just for its EQ:
Two different sizes of the same thing. When you install it, you get a set of virtual speakers and virtual mics. Move OBS's mic connection to one of those virtual ones, and connect VM to the physical mic instead. Then use VM to feed the virtual mic, via the corresponding "B" output, and now you have an actually-decent EQ in the chain.

Look up some tutorials about how to use a parametric EQ, most of which will not be from VoiceMeeter. Same tool, same theory, same effect, etc.

It's an *output* EQ, so the button for it is over there, and not on the input side. But if that's all that's going through that point in the chain, it hardly matters.
