Hello OBS Community,
I am experiencing an issue where the imaging color from my Logitech MX Brio camera gets darker in both the OBS preview window and the YouTube livestream. This happens daily, and I have tried all the suggested fixes without success. I am looking for further guidance to resolve this issue permanently.
Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions!
I am experiencing an issue where the imaging color from my Logitech MX Brio camera gets darker in both the OBS preview window and the YouTube livestream. This happens daily, and I have tried all the suggested fixes without success. I am looking for further guidance to resolve this issue permanently.
Issue Details:
- Every day (and sometimes multiple times a day), I have to manually switch the Preset attribute under OBS > Properties > Logitech MX Brio camera > Preset:
- Switch from 3840 x 2160 to 1920 x 1080, then back to 3840 x 2160.
- After switching, the color returns to normal instantly, even without clicking "OK."
- Opening the LogiTune app(from Logitech) for either of my cameras (Logitech MX Brio or Logitech Brio 500) triggers the issue:
- The imaging color changes from normal to darker in OBS and the livestream.
- The manual Preset switching in OBS is then required to restore the correct color.
Cameras in Use:
- Logitech MX Brio (used in OBS).
- Logitech Brio 500 (used for a separate Youtube livestream via Streamlabs ).
System Details:
- Operating System: macOS Sequoia 15.2 with Apple M1 chip, 8 GB memory.
- OBS Version: (31.0.0).
- Camera Settings:
- Preset: 3840 x 2160 (Primary setting for better color rendering).
Steps Taken So Far:
- Tried adjusting camera properties in OBS.
- Verified LogiTune settings and avoided opening the app, but it’s sometimes needed for adjustments.
- Increased bitrate in OBS and verified resolutions (Base Canvas and Output Scaled resolutions) for better rendering.
- Reinstalled OBS and LogiTune, but the issue persists.
