Image Slide Show does not play in order

I have a ppt presentation that I saved as a .jpg in a folder. In OBS, I added the Image Slide Show source, but the images do not play in order.

When I exported the slides into their own directory, they saved as, Slide1.jpg, Slide2.jpg, Slide3.jpg, and so on. I've confirmed they are titled in order, but you they do not play in order. They jump around.

This morning my OBS updated to version 26 and the slides were playing fine yesterday. Could there be a bug?

Computers don’t like names likes that for order.

Try this:

Example:
001_file name

Could you include a log? I can't seem to reproduce this with v26.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

If there are 300 images, you are likely exceeding the maximum for a slideshow (400MB uncompressed data), only some of the images would be loaded.

Okay, got it. InteractiveDNA is definetly right. It's jumping from Slide1 to Slide10 as the next in order instead of Slide2.

Is there a method to make this change to the ~300 files without renaming each one manually?
