OBS (for Mac): 31.0.1 (64 bit)
Mac: Mac Mini M4 (2024)
macOS: 15.3.1 (24D70)
MS PowerPoint for Mac: Version 16.94 (25020927)
Issue: After exporting a slide show from PowerPoint to images, and selecting the folder to the images in OBS Image Slide Show using "Add Directory", the images will not play in numerical or alphabetic order.
NOTE: Playback Mode set to "Once" NOT "Random".
1) Export PowerPoint Slide show to images in new, separate folder (only containing exported image files)
2) In OBS, add an Image Slide Show Source
3) For "Image Files", click "+", choose "Add Directory", select directory with newly exported image files, click OK
4) Playback / advancement of slides/images will not be played back in order
Things tried:
1) Default file names from PPT export are: Slide(x).yyy, where x starts out as "1" and increments, and y represents the file type chosen, such as .png, .jpeg, etc.
Changed file names as follows, with varying results, but none corrected issue:
- Slide0x.yyy (Adding a 0 before 1 through 9)
- Renaming to 01.yyy (incrementing numerically)
- Renaming to A.yyy (incrementing alphabetically)
2) Chose two different file types: .PNG and .JPEG
Again, NONE of these attempts solves the problem.
3) WHAT DOES WORK: Adding all files manually.
