Question / Help Image (OBS Studio Doesn't Detect File Change)

Hello, I stream Smash 4 tournaments and I have a major issue with OBS Studio.

I use a program that lets me choose a new image (character) and output it to this same location. Before when I did this OBS Classic was able to detect the file change and appropriately change the image being shown on the screen. With OBS Studio it detects the file change the first couple times, then proceeds to not be able to figure out the change of file anymore for the rest of the time OBS is open (with sometimes never changed at all.)

Any workarounds? What gives?

What version of OBS Studio? Can you post a log? As long as the file's modified timestamp is being changed, the file should be updated when OBS Studio checks the timestamp, which I think is once every second. If the file's modified timestamp is not being changed, then OBS Studio wouldn't know that the file itself has changed with the current detection code.
