Image Mask not working with Siphon source

I searched the forums for this, but this doesn't seem to have come up before.
I am using Camera Live as a Siphon source in OBS, to stream video from my Canon 5D Mark II. It works just fine, but when I try to apply a simple image mask to the video source, the whole video disappears. I tested applying the same image mask to a Webcam source, and that works just fine.
Do filters not work with Siphon sources? Is there perhaps a workaround?

And I just answered my own question! In the settings for the Siphon source, need to check "Allow transparency" for masks / crops to work.
