So Im running a TEXT file, that is my Songinfo on stream.

But I want the text to fade in and fade out on the sides.

So the text have added "Image Mask/Blend" and Type is set to "Alpha Mask (Alpha Channel)" With the image below.

So I made 2 images. 100pix high and 25 pixels wide. One for left side and one for right side.
Dint really seam to matter, and when I tested the 100x25 it seems to fade in/fade out more/earlier then I want. Is there any way to control how long/short the fade is ?

Can you post screenshots of what it looks like in the OBS preview, and what you are expecting?

This is how it looks

And what I would prefer if the fade out started later, or closer to the edge so to speak. So the text is less time starting to fade out.

Or do I just make a new picture that is different, and if so how chould the picture be differnt?

So even if the fade in / fade out looks good in the song there, when used on a smaller text with smaller space there is a problem, it is never a space when its not faded.

I did a 2nd recording where I show my "problem"

Its a video longer then it should be.... unedited, but at least you see what Im refering to.

Also a 2nd question. When I click a "Source" I get a red frame around it, in th e same way you used to get in OBS if you pressed "Edit scene" but in the old OBS the edit scene was an ON/OFF switch, so now to my question.

How do I remove the red lines around the scene ?

Sure I can select another one, but that just gives me a red line around something els.... I dont want any red lines at all.

I'm pretty sure the mask is stretched to fit the shape of the source, so if you want it to only fade at the edge, make the mask shaped more like the source that it is applying to.

The easiest way I know of to "deselect" is to click the gray area bordering the preview window.
