iMac+OBS+Nikon , no image

HI ,
I teach at home and need to stream to my desktop.
I have had this setup right.
I have connected my Nikon D610 using a Capture Card to my iMac.
Settings are OK , 1080 by 720. Using OBS , I either get black screen or vertical color strips.
Need to know what to do to correct this situation.
