Question / Help I'm very new to this...I need help NOW

Ok, so I heard OBS is a great recorder, so I wanted to try it out. I recorded a video, and it's in some alien format called FLV.

I want it a MP4, not some Linux format or whatever it is. How do I record mp4 videos?

System: Windows 8.1

And FLV is far from some alien format. If you don't have a media player that supports it, then that's the fault of the media player and not obs.
