Question / Help I'm trying to use OBS to record multiple sources into separate video files.

I'm receiving a Vive soon and I would love to record three separate video sources using OBS. One would be for the game capture, another for my webcam, and the third for the Vive's built in camera. I have tried setting all of this up using multiple instances of OBS but unfortunately I cannot get it to work correctly. The second and third instance open fine but even when using different profiles they only output a black screen. I know that I can arrange all of the sources into one scene using OBS but I would really like three different video files so I can edit them together later.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried searching for a solution but I haven't found any. Is this even possible using OBS?

im using multiple instances of obs studio to do so.

start obs studio with paramter -multi and use profiles and scenes for desktop / facecam / etc

use the same hotkey to be sync

works great for me.
