Hello. I've been dealing with this issue for a couple of days now and finally decided to ask for help.
I recently bought a new RTX 2080 Super because i wanted to stream with the new NVENC encoder for better quality and headroom.
However I'm having a ton of issues getting it to work.
Here's a screenshot of my stats when streaming, as you can see it's pretty bad and unwatchable. My webcam looks fine tho??

Other settings, i've tried to change every single one of them to something else, I've disabled my mic, webcam. Basically i feel like i have tried everything and can't seem to find the problem :(

My hardware is
CPU : i7 5930k OC 4,2Ghz
GPU : RTX 2080 Super
RAM : 2133mhz 32gb
Internet 150 down / 30 up. cabled

Here's a list of stuff i've been through
  • Disable mic
  • Disable Gsync
  • Remove OC from monitor 165 to 144hz
  • Lowering refresh rate to 144hz
  • Tried obs, steamlabs obs, streamelements obs.
  • Tried Mixed and twitch
  • Run as admin
  • Remove all overlays
  • Monitor capture instead of game capture
  • 30 fps, 48 fps, 60 fps
  • Different resolutions

SOLVED:
I had "capture cursor" turned on in the game capture source. This caused A LOT of lag.. Unchecking it seems to have fixed most of the issues

I had no idea this could be that impact. I am on a 2080 SUPER so I will have to give this a shot to see if it helps.
