There is a forum sticky on this subject. You cannot perform a Display capture on a laptop with both integrated and discrete GPUs (Intel and Nvidia) while OBS is running on the Nvidia card. You need to switch it to run on the Intel GPU to perform a display capture.

If you have the latest Windows update (1909) this settings is now in Windows display settings.

If not, it's in your Nvidia control panel.

Laptop? Black screen when capturing? Read here first.

Yep, did that. Read thru all the help. Switched to Integrated Graphics in the Nvidia Panel. Still nothing.

Yeah that's weird. Your logfile says:

17:26:55.736: Windows Version: 10.0 Build 18362 (revision: 476; 64-bit)

Which should be 1903, but as far as I know, this change to video settings was supposted to only be in 18363 (1909).
