Question / Help Im new to obs

I cant get the computer to read the camcorder attached by usb. Comp only recognizes the webcam integrated with comp. Running windows 10 with a pavilion hp
 
The usb on most camcorders is just to transfer recording files to a computer
To use a camcorder as a live camera input to OBS it needs a HDMI out and then you will need a capture card to get it to OBS.
